How to Get Killer cheekbones

http://www.thefashionablehousewife.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/cheekbones.jpgHow to Get Killer cheekbones. We’ve all sucked in our cheeks in the vain hope of supermodel cheekbones. But there’s an easier way. The trick comes down to expert contouring and using the right products to shade away the years.

Get the look

1. Start by finding your cheekbones. Take your index, middle and ring fingers and press them under your cheekbones to get an idea of where you need to be shading. The length of the contour should be no longer than the width of your three fingers.

2. Load a medium sized brush and begin to sweep the product under the cheekbone in a downwards direction following an imaginary line from the top of your ear to the side of the lips. Try: Napoleon Perdis Camera Finish Foundation, $55; or Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder, $88.

3. Next shade your temples. The colour should blend no lower than the end of your eyebrow so sweep your brush in an upwards direction starting from that point. Ensure all edges are blended then its time to apply the highlight.

4. To accentuate the shaded areas, add highlight to the tops of the cheekbones with a matt or luminous shimmer. Try: Napoleon Perdis Color Disc in Nude, $25; or MAC Iridescent Powder in Delicacy, $43.

5. Sweep the product along the top of your cheekbone finishing at the apple of the cheek. With the remaining product, sweep the brush below the shading on the cheekbone and above the shade on your temple.
