Underarm Hair Removal Tips

Underarm Hair Removal TipsWhether or not you wear sleeveless dresses, removing underarm hair is quite important for a number of reasons. Firstly, of course, it isn’t very aesthetically pleasing to see a thick growth of hair under the arms ruining your overall appeal, especially with sleeveless dresses. Apart from the aesthetic point of view, this hair growth causes some other problems as the sweat remains trapped in the hair thus helping the odor causing bacteria to survive and flourish in your armpits.

How to remove underarm hair growth

This is one question that confuses most women, as to what method of hair removal is best to remove underarm hair. You have varied choices such as shaving, waxing, electrolysis, hair removal creams, plucking and laser hair removal. Some of these methods are a bit painful, and there are others which may be too expensive. For instance plucking is quite a painful and a time consuming method.

On the other hand laser and electrolysis are somewhat expensive; and not every woman can really afford the high cost. Hair removing creams can scar the delicate skin. So now you’re just left with two options, so you can either shave off your underarm hair or you can get them waxed.

Waxing vs. Shaving

Both these methods have been used for under arm hair removal for a very long time. Most women find shaving an easier and quick method; however it is something that needs to be done on a very regular basis as the new hair growth is usually prickly and quite uncomfortable. Underarm waxing is a somewhat better way out, and although it may be a little painful, the effects are somewhat long lasting and you may not have to go in for another session for the next few weeks.

The best part of underarm waxing is that the new growth is usually scant and much softer. Also, most women suffer a few cuts, here and there, when shaving, which definitely does not happen in the case of waxing.

Spa treatment at homeSPA AT HOME

A spa treatment makes you feel new. Create the magic of spa in your bathroom with a few important accessories.

Your spa accessories

Before you start a spa session at home, you will need a few important things. Check the list against your bathroom. Having a bath tub may require all the things. Find what is ideal for your bathroom and you.

* Get some essential oils. Buy the ones you like and need
* Buy bath salts or make your own
* Pick natural soaps
* Get a loofah or a back brush
* Keep massage cream and scrubs ready
* Set aside your favourite towels or bath robe
* Buy some perfumed candles or tea lights
* Collect some rose petals
* Buy a rose water bottle
* Order some fresh milk

Bathroom to Spa

Before you step in for a bath, you have to prepare your bathroom for the ultimate spa experience. Gather all the stuff on your list. Clear the clutter. Keep the towels on a reachable distance. Place creams, scrubs, soaps, Loofah or brushes on a shelf. Add bath salts or essentials oils to your bathing water. Now place the candles at different places and light them up. If you have tea lights then light them and pour drops of aroma oils in them. You will see the aura of your bathroom transforming right in front of your eyes.

If you have a tub

If you are one of those lucky ones who have a tub in the bathroom, make the most of it. Fill up the tub with a little more than lukewarm water. Pour drops of aromatherapy oils or mentioned table spoons of bath salts as per your liking. Pour some bubble bath liquid in it. Drop some rose petals in the foamy water. You are set for a skin deep dip.

The spa treatment at home

Keep all spa accessories near you. Wear a shower cap. Sit on a tool and start massaging your body with the massaging cream. Once the cream is soaked into your skin, close your eyes and meditate for five minutes. Now use the scrub on your body. Pay attention to toes, knees and elbows. Let it stay for fifteen minutes and once the scrub starts drying pour water on your body.

Use the natural soap on your body and move the loofah in circular motions on your body. Scrub your back and heels with a brush. This helps exfoliate the skin. Once you are done, wash away. Step out of the bathroom and lather on some fresh smelling moisturiser with a few drops of aromatherapy oils. Wear something comfortable and set your creative visualization to work. Begin to de-stress your mind now. Be careful if you do not wish to sleep.

If you have a tub you can take a Cleopatra dip. Pour a litre of milk in the bath tub. People with oily skin can replace it with lemon or rose water. Follow the entire procedure of massaging and scrubbing. Now step into the tub and sink into the pool of beauty. Stay there for at least half an hour. Read a book, play some lilting music or simply meditate while your skin rejuvenates. Once done, wrap into a towel and apply water based or natural ingredient based moisturiser. Dab on some essential oil.

Had a hard day today? Treat yourself like a queen and you will feel like one. Create a spa like experience in your bathroom and bathing will no more be just about scrubbing behind the ears.

10 Beauty Tips to Stun the World

10 Beauty Tips to Stun the WorldHere are some great beauty tips that will help you look simply gorgeous. So get into the groove and sweep the world off its feet!

1. If you have small upper eyelids, avoid dark eye shadows. It will make your eyes look even smaller. Just a single light shadow (try shimmery silver) applied right up to your brows will do the trick. A very thin black line across the base of your upper lashes will further enhance your eyes.
2. If you have freckled skin, massage your face with olive oil and lemon juice. Use a scrub and gently but firmly clean your face in a circular motion. Avoid thick foundations.
3. French manicure is no longer just plain white. You can now indulge your passion for pastels and paint the tip of your nails in soft pink, lilac and baby blue. May be even sheer metallic. As for the rest of the nail, a sheer topcoat in the same colour is recommended.
4. The shape of the nail should neither be square nor oval. The shape that has caught the fantasy of fashion gurus is 'squoval' - longish, with straight edges and rounded tips!
5. The colours of the millennium for your lips, eyes and nails range from silvery lilacs to dark purples, from icy pinks to heavy bronzes to even shimmery greens. If you still haven't caught on, the emphasis is on 'glitter', shine and sparkle.
6. Tweeze your eyebrows after a bath. Or apply a hot cloth on your brows before you do. This will loosen the hair follicles. Remember to follow your brows' natural shape and taper off gradually.
7. To prevent eye movement while applying mascara, look up and then stretch the eye by pushing the eyebrow with your finger. Then look down and apply mascara on top lashes.
8. If you have dry skin, avoid moisturising immediately before applying make-up. Apply at least two hours before that. Don't use a dry sponge to pat the face. Dampen it before using.
9. Control your urge to apply powder on your shiny nose. This will ruin your compact powder kit. Instead, use a blotting paper and absorb the oil first. You can even use tissues. Blot the oily areas with a single layer of tissue. Take care not to wipe or smear.
10. Dust shimmer powder along collarbone with a large brush. When wearing a short skirt, dust the powder on your knees so that it catches the light and draws attention to your legs. Sweep some on your shoulder blades when wearing a low-cut blouse. But make sure the colour is not drastically different from your skin colour.

Before you get started, here are some ground rules:
1. Keep a weekend aside to try this. You need to get away from work and the stress that comes with it. Don't plan any activities.
2. Put the phone off the hook and have someone else answer the door.
3. Be patient. Continue this routine at least twice a month and wait for a few months to see results.
4. Create the right atmosphere. Dim the lights, light some scented candles and play soft, soothing music..... Now get right into it, and be on your way to a glowing, simply gorgeous you!

Daily Makeup Tips* Always remember that while using the cosmetics on a daily basis you should use only quality products.
* Therefore choosing the cosmetics is an important step as it is directly related to the skin care and health.
* For the purpose of daily makeup usually powder cosmetics are preferred because they not only keep the shine under control but also contain less preservatives and skin irritants as compared to the liquid ones.
* In case you cannot avoid use of the liquid foundation then you should opt for one, which has a silicone base because the silicone base does not cause acne.
* If you apply makeup daily then you also need to remove it daily and for this you may need to use the makeup remover.
* But remember that using makeup remover to clean out waterproof cosmetics also wipes out the protective layer of sebum from the skin, therefore you should use waterproof cosmetics only occasionally and not on routine basis.
* You should also wash and clean the makeup brushes and sponges regularly.
* However, for the daily use cosmetics with fewer ingredients are much safer therefore you should opt for the cosmetics that contain not more than 10 ingredients.
* Though nail polishes are very important for giving a beautiful look to your hands but they are not for daily use.
* For a quick pedicure you should scrape the dead skin off the soles of your feet after shower using an emery board.
* You should rub them over with lotion or olive oil or petroleum jelly and push back the cuticles of your toenails.

10 Tummy Flattening Tips Here's a quick guide you can follow to help flatten your stomach. Print this list out and post it somewhere in your house where you'll see it.

1. Walk/jog for 30 minutes at least 3 times per week to boost your metabolism in order to burn that fat.

2. Eat a small handful of almonds (at least 6) every morning. Almonds are one of the healthiest snacks you can eat and the protein is good for burning fat.

3. Purchase a DVD and do the exercises at least 2-3 times per week. Works on toning your entire body with concentration on your powerhouse (middle section) and will improve your flexibility.

4. Add fiber to your diet and cut down your intake of the bad crabs. Foods such as white bread, pastas, potatoes, and white rice should be limited. Eat brown rice and whole wheat bread instead. To get that needed fiber increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables (especially the leafy green ones).

5. Drink skim milk instead of whole milk. Keep your dairy intake at a minimum because these products often cause bloating and gas.

6. Perform proper crunches at least 3 times a week to train your abs. Avoid sit-ups because they really do very little to firm your stomach. Sit-ups work your hip flexors more than anything else.

7. Drink plenty of water. You should be drinking 6 to 8 glasses per day. Not only will it help fill you up so you eat less, but it aids in digestion.

8. Stop eating within 3 hours of bedtime. If you have to munch on something, eat a small portion of vegetables or fruit. Not eating late can make a huge difference.

9. Eat smaller meals more often instead of 2-3 big meals per day to keep from having that bloated look and feeling. Eating more meals actually kicks up your metabolism.

10. Take a break from healthy eating once in a while and treat yourself to your favorite dessert. If you completely deprive yourself of the foods you love you'll run the risk of going back to your bad eating habits. Moderation is the key.

Just remember that slow and steady wins the race when it comes to slimming your waistline and flattening your stomach. There's no such thing as losing your stomach fast. You have to work at it daily and remain consistent with your diet and exercise.

If you remember nothing else, remember this: A flat stomach comes with TOTAL BODY FITNESS - not just from spot toning your stomach with crunches.
